Normal day 1 stuff, bought 5 parsnip seeds and 5 caulifour seeds and looked at the chickens (theyre babies! A brown one and a white/yellow one! Theyre named scrappy and buster respectively - this was how they were when i got the farm so pressumably its taken from a set list and maybe randomised? idk tho thats something that could b tested later) lotta new stuff and it looks SO COOL. ALSO clams are fish now?? sick as
went over to willies and got the bamboo rod - forgot how bad this thing is lol. first fish was a herring, the seccond a sea jelly (new fish!!) and the third was another herring but slightly bigger than the last. apparently theres 3 jellies in total - sea river and cave and you can use them to make the smoker! also found some of the things that look like worms but different - there was two carrot seeds in bags when dug out with the hoe
raining <3 and my chickens have grown!! scrappy and buster are now adults! this seems faster than normal but i havent played in a moment (stardew valley is normally my summer game (despite the fact that i barley even played it this/last year), and minecraft my winter game but this is shifting it up a bit i guess lol) to i dont know if it actually is. got 2 joja cola and promptly threw them in the bin
farm crop size is now up to 39 which is toatly not a pain in the ass to water at all nope lol. most of it is whild seeds but theres also the 2 carrots and the 5 cauliflower and parsnips in there as well. im down to like. half my energy but its fine lol its fine. chopped trees til i ran out of energy then retired at about 6 pm currently only making money through selling eggs (100g a day) so i should probably work on that lol
according to the weather its going to rain all day tomorrow which is good cause watering all these plants sucks >_<.

just went into town and checked the callendar cause i havent done that yet and?? bookseller??? on the 21st of spring? intriguing. also whats more intriguing is the 3 days marked with a greyed out star (which will pressumably turn non greyed out at some point?) their title is '???' which is very vague yet menacing if you ask me. also found 2 mussels and an oyster on the meach. caved and bought a training rod i cant stand the bamboo pole lol. training rod gave me a piece of seaweed on the first try -_-

can now craft a scare crow!! :D my crops shall finally br protected. also forgot to mention this b4 but theres a massive tree out in the forest where jaz usually has a skipping rope? looks like Eucalyptus regnans lol. partially cloudy with a light breeze tomorrow, but currently its raining and the spirits are happy :D
my carrots (2) grew, as well as a parsnip i forgot about apparently. carrots give you 75 energy and 33 health - so for only taking what3 days? to grow? theyre p good actually. if i was smart id save them to see if you can replicate the seeds but well, im not. sold the carots and the parsnips to tha box and we will how mych they sell for i guess
havent checked in with the chickens in a ehile AND YOU CAN CHANGE THEIR NAMES??? IS THIS NEW OR AM I JUST CLUELESS. anyway there was 4 eggs whoops. scrappy (the brown one) even laid a big egg! so congratulations to scrappy for being my favourite chicken. also im down to 5 hay out of the 15 or so i originally started with (you dont get seeds in the meddow farm apparently) so thats gonna be an issue in the future seeing as i havent even got the copper to make a silo yet. i think im gonna mine today then
got distracted by 2 more carrot seeds on the way out tho went back and made myself a scarecrow first tho. then got down to lvl 3 in the mines then remembered that its dark as shit without glow rings whoops. donated the quartz to the museum but diddnt get around to cracking open the geodes cause EVDIENTLY clint is from tassie or something cause he shuts at 4 pm!!!!

little extra luck today, learned how to cook stir fry. if all i had in my actual reall life cubords wasnt pasta, zooper doopers and potatoes right now id probably be making it lol. got 2 extra parsnips and a potato, im going to go looking for more horseradishes to get more spring seeds. also - the variation you get with the blue grass is a really nice toutch
got a rare seed from the purple pig cart, probably not the best use of 1000g but oh well. found more spring onions, also a weird sign re: 5/5 skill mastering where alexs axe will be soon so thats something to keep in mind. also. there was more joja cola in the trash u_u - this town has a serious problem but hey! at least its where it belongs? have found naught a singular horse radish i though i had extra luck today lol
went fishing - got 3 green algae, 5 bream, 3 smallmouth bass, 2 sunfish, 3 wood, 10 bait and 4 rice seeds then went to play journey of the praire king I SWEAR THIS GAME HAS GOTTEN HARDER WHAT. by end of day + 1 fishing, made a solid 710g which is almost enough to replace what i spent on the rare seed lol
